About Italian Art

Italian Art

Angelica came to the US in the early 80's, and started painting in1996. An Award Winning Artist, she started teaching Art in 2006, both privately and through local colleges and private venues. Angelica loves and misses the Italian buildings, the colors, the people, the foods, the warm Mediterranean Sea and the olive trees. Her painting allows her to revisit the lands, colors and sights that are so very familiar and that are such an intrinsic part of her. She travels to Europe and Italy to visit family and friends and spend time there recharging her 'cultural' batteries, while brushing up on the language and collecting pictures and subjects to paint while back in the US.
